Welcome Miss Ryder-Green ( and a little bit about Physical Education at Sparkwell)

Welcome to our B.Ed student Miss Ryder-Green!

"Hi, I’m Meaghan Ryder-Green a second-year Bed student from Plymouth University. I will be in Robbins class until the 23rd November then will return in May for another four weeks.

I’ve had a brilliant first week getting to know all the pupils in Robins class who have made me feel very welcome. I’ve seen some great learning and it’s been lovely to get to know the children and hear about their half term adventures."

This week we have been trying out our new PE programme- REAL PE. This approach will be used across the whole school and will focus on the development of agility, balance and coordination, healthy competition and cooperative learning through challenges, games, personal bests and stories.

We challenged ourselves this week to do a static balance. We have included the activity card here if you would like to try this at home! (Try not to wobble!)
