Hearts - passion and biology

Thank you Lavinia for the well written blog this week.

This week we were learning about the human heart and how it works. Because of the topic, we even got to touch a pig heart - we had to have gloves on though. We learned about all the veins and how the heart keeps us alive. It was an amazing experience.

At the very end of the week we went to Delamor House to look at all of the sculptures. There were lots of different sculptures and there was a ‘Guess the colour of the powder’ game. Personally, my favourite sculpture was the totem of baby heads. It was really creepy.

This week was absolutely joyful and amazing. THANK YOU MISS PALMER.

Don’t worry, I haven’t included our heart dissection pictures!
