Greek day, dance and RSPB

We have had an extremely busy week this week but it has been lots of fun. The class amazed our visitor with their amazing dance skills, looking at choreographing an Olympic themed dance. They were all really enthusiastic and willing to have a go! We also had Adrian visiting us as Archimedes and a Greek soldier. We learnt loads of information about all of Archimedes inventions and had a go at using the Archimedes Screw. The children also had a go at reenacting the battle between the Persians and the Spartans. The children also amazed the RSPB visitor with all their knowledge of habitats and animals.

In English they performed some Greek myths and were brilliant at taking on their roles confidently as well as adding humour to them.

Next week we are going to be focussing on the four times table so please try to practise this ready for Friday.
