This week we went to Plymouth University to see a play written by William Shakespeare called The Tempest, which involved learning about old English. Although the actors didn’t use much old English so we understood. We all laughed at the drunken butler and the jester. (By Archie)

We have been exploring the place value of decimal numbers up to 3dp. We have used base 10, place value counters and key mathematical vocabulary to describe the numbers and compare the values. We will continue to link this to fractions and percentages over the next few weeks.
