A busy few weeks!

The children have been working incredibly hard over a busy few weeks. We have been learning about Alexander the Great and then looking at the Battle of Marathon. The children have already written a letter as Alexander the Great and have also role played the Battle of Marathon.

In science we have been learning about electricity and have had a go at building circuits including a variety of switches, some have been more complicated than others!

In maths we have been looking at finding the area and perimeter of different buildings on their Greek islands. We have now moved onto multiplication and division where they have been great at explaining what happens when you multiply by 10, 100 and 1000.

In forest school they all made fires in small groups, they realised that building and keeping a fire going is actually quite challenging, so we will continue practising this next week.
