Healthy Schools Week

This week we have been designing and making healthy snacks that we could have at breaktime. We spent some time thinking about what makes a healthy meal and what we could have as a healthy snack.

Our class thought about trying fruit, vegetables, plain popcorn, nuts, dried fruit and protein balls. In class we made a fruit salad using banana, melon, kiwi, apples and pears.

We also prepared vegetables sticks with hummus and tried these tasty protein balls.
