Arts week

This week we have been doing lots of art in a variety of forms. We started the week in our family groups creating collaborative art pieces in the style of different artists.

In Forest School, we created some natural art from the woods around us.

Jacob, Henry and Oz created this realistic Owl

Niamh and Jack decided to create a scene from Harry Potter

Finley created this ferocious T-Rex using buds as teeth

Dexter, Maisie and Isla created an image of our planet using laurel leaves for countries and a stick for the equator.

We were also lucky enough to have a visit from local artist. He showed our class Dartmoor landscapes and a variety of drawing techniques to create different styles of line. We then used these lines to create our own narrow landscapes which we then filled with ink.

I think Robins class should be really proud of their efforts this week and the fantastic pieces that they have created.
