Recently we have looked at the French artist Henri Matisse, with a particular focus on his ‘snail’ artwork and drawing with scissors skills.
We had lots of ideas for what the famous artwork could be; a windmill, a spiral, a hiding home, an elephant. Such fantastic artistic imaginations!

We even asked the Zoo to bring in some giant snails so we could look at the spirals on them to compare to our artwork.
